Polishing Up PLastic Lens Headlights

whats a good way to polish up the GM headlights with the plastic lens I know with glass you can wetsand and buff them not to sure with plastic

i saw on a dsm site this guy used wetsanding and mothers mag wheel polish.. but hell now there are kits for headlights ive seen at autozone also. plastic polish, headlight restore kits etc..

When I installed the ph2 cav headlights on my bird, I just used regular meguires paint polish on it...

meguiars plast-x works wonders, i worked at baron bmw and they swore by this stuff. It was a courtesy thing we did for the customer and it really works.

dont laugh because it actually does work, my grand father has a bunch of weird cleaning tips for cars

if the plastic lens is foggy on the outer part.............tooth paste

i just used a polishing bob on my rotary tool and eagle one spray wax (the wax as you dry stuff).

worked pretty good, cleaned it up nice nice

wetsand it like u would paint.








toothpaste is good for that sort of stuff its pretty abrasive.

i worked at a detail shop for toyota

We used a 3m made polish used to polish off paint overspray and minor imperfections it's extremely fine grit

Also, try TOOTHPASTE. they rock.
