Hey guys, I have a 2002 Turbo Cavalier, and i am looking to get a Functional Carbon Fibre hood. However i do not want the invader style, or SS style. I dont mind the VIS Evo style, but my main thing is I would like it to be functional. Of course i also would like it to look good too. My car pretty much looks like a stock cavalier except the TYC tails. I was wondering if you guys could point me in some direction for Functional CF hoods that look good. do the big vent looking things on the Evo hood even let air in? thanks, Pics are more then welcome.

how functional are those? cause i get alot of heat in the engine bay, plus im hoping my BOV will be a little louder with more of an open hood.

it doesn't pull air in through the vents, but it allows hot air to escape from the engine bay.

thats fine, but which hoods do u recommend? i am looking for CF. nothing to flashy but soemthing useful.

i'm a fan of the Vis Evo hood. my car actually runs slightly cooler when I have the vent deflector removed, but i usually leave it in because it rains all the time here in central pa. this weekend i'm planning on using HPT to log a few things and see if there really is any difference in cooling characteristics.
