tropi-care+porter cable=FTW

I browse alot over on ls2gto and heard alot about tropi-care and the porter cable orbital buffer so me bein the nut with a flawless car i decided to order there kit, I got the porter cable buffer, scratch and swirl remover, and some wax and polish. The car was just painted the beginning of last year but from all the washin it had alot of fine scratches when it was under uv lights of bright sun, i spent about 12 hours on it with the scratch and swirl remover and then put on 3 thin coats of there polish and finished it off with there quick detailer. I have to say that i am totally pleased with how the car came out, you look into the paint and see nothing but the clouds and yourself lol. anways here are some pics the day after i did it at a local car show. it was in the woods but you can still see how much the paint shines even in the shade.

Stoner Invisable glass and black print newspaper then just make sure your doing it in the shade. The glass needs to be cool and not a bit warm. I usually end up doing all my buddies windows since they all suck at it.

Class looks nice and shiney, good work man.

Let me be the first to say that i have heard alot of stuff when it comes to detailin a car. and to be honest i have been buyin meguirs professional series products for awhile now and it just wasnt showin me the results that i was hopin for. So thats what made me try tropi-care and the porter cable, it is alot of work but it is so worth the effort when it is done, wish you could all see it in person. but here is the link to tropi-cares site

http://www.tropi-care.com/

I bought the porter cable package that comes with the teaser products, they arent very big only anuff product to do your car like 1 time or so, so i also bought the deluxe bucket package. It is abit expensive but it will show you the results. But just so no one gets the wrong idea it aint a miracle worker, if the car has had a hard life and has alot of rough scratches in it this wont get all of them out, it will lighten them but not remove them. this is manly for scratches and swirls caused by washin, so yes they will come back after time and more washes but hey thats just life with ownin a car lol. Thanks for all the kind words that everyone had to say, its nice to see hard work and time on the car get appricated.

Since i have pics up on here guys I got a quick question for you, i keep goin back in fourth in my head, do i get some clear corners and leave the headlights like that. or should i go with the black headlights and corners. its a hard decision for me here, the headlights are in great shape and look ok i think on the car, was just curiouse what others thought.

I talked to tropi-care for about 2 hours on the phone(great people) they said to clay the car, use the scratch and swirl remover. follow that up with 3 thin coats of there polish and then use there quick detail mist to give it that wet shine. So i figured i would atleast take there advice the first time on the car. Car still looks amazing and wet after 2 weeks now.

No def looks good, im not arguing that by any means, but usually you would use the detailer to keep it looking good after all that. Like on a week to week basis(or day to day if your super anal) but i would have put a nice wax on there to seal it all up...So it lasts...

Either way, excellent work
