Josh contacted me not too long ago asking if i would show off his latest product: sunfire carbon fiber evil eye eyelids. of course i said sure.
i got them in the mail a couple weeks ago and told him i would post up pics and a review as soon as i got my car washed. well, with all the rain i've gotten here lately, washing my car just wasn't doable. so screw it, my car is dirty as all hell and i don't really care, haha.
this is just a test set of eyelids, and i've already talked to Josh about the weave pattern not lining up, so that's something that will be corrected in the finished product. these eyelids can be either attached to a hood or to the headlights. i used double sided tape to attach them to the headlights for these pics, and they have held up just fine. there is a tab on the eyelid so you can use a couple screws to attach them to a carbon fiber hood if you prefer.

not bad, although cant beat real eyelids but not bad. the line between em kinda ruins the look but i know that no invader hood in c/f comes with eyelids same as many other fire hoods.
that looks pretty hot man! once you get some lids with the weave to match your hood its gonna be awesome! keep it up (and while youre at it, wash the damned car lol)

dude i love your car and the lids make it a whole lot better.
personally im not a fan, i think f/g'ing some in and painting either the ouside part of the hood like darkstars hood or paint the whole hood, would like better, but im not a fan of the c/f look, id prefer to just have the weight savings
no offense meant for everyone who loves c/f, just not a fan of the look. The car itself looks great
