alright so on my drivers door today in the middle of the hinge where the bottom of the shock bolts in, there is that little ciruclar ring that lets it swivel or whatever to open and close well it somehow fell out of the hinge so there is a huge hole and the shock just falls through it so i cant open my door and when i do it just falls as far down as it can go, has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it.
just put stock hinges on it thats whats on my car and i have never had a problem with them.

stock hinges ftw i had nothing but problems with my lambos so i took them bitches back!
My passenger side is broke the same way. I put the factory hinge back on until I find a solution. I was going to attempt to order the replacement ball joint and ring to see if that would help.

Well I beg to differ on that for sure. Doing that while having the doors open I'm sure didn't help anything. I think if that was done without lambos it would mess up even a stock hinge.
I understand that you are looking to fix this problem, but please try to be smart about things. I just think some lights would of went off in your head before doing that. Hope you find a replacement.
its the retainer ring. i had my drivers one break. just from wear and tear. i got a new ring. its supposed to snap in but mines not because i didnt want to break it. a local machine shop ordered it for me.
My drivers side shock broke today....Going back to OEM hinges for good......

And another thing, helping someone who does something stupid like this, just lets them be stupid again, its a nice car and everything, but just not the smartest thing to do.

Chris - First thing, how are your shocks facing? Do you have the silver side facing down? If the silver side is up, the shock won't fall through, if this happens. As a temporary fix (so you can open your door), flip your shock around. As someone stated above, this does happen from time to time, from normal wear and tear. thanks for all the help guys, i emaild you joe a couple days ago i just emailed the email on your website, so aside from flipping the shock what else can i do about this, would a new one of those ball things work i tried to put the other one back in but as soon as the shock went down it just came right out, im afraid the actual hinge is wore out around it not the bering, and about the burnout i dont see how a car sitting still doing a burnout is any different on the doors then it sittin still at a car show with the doors up, it seems like a few people have had this problem so im sure it had nothing to do with that, but anyways thanks for everyones help

I'm in the same boat as him. If any thing can be done, it would be great since I need the same piece.
like i said i went to a machine shop and he ordered me that piece for dirt cheap. also he can get me shocks for like $20 a piece ha ha. If you want i can find out the price of the bushing and let you guys know. The only thing is it doesnt pop back in, it sets in where its supposed to go. all that means is you cant let the door go flying up as fast as possible. but i did this bushing about 3 months ago, no problems at all.

yeah that would be wonderful, i need some kinda quick fix for a while for sure
for everyone who was following this post, i took the shock out and put the fat side on the bottom, its not the sturdiest of fixed but it opens alright and its a lot eaiser to shut, so if anyone needs a quick fix just flip the shock
