I was looking at how to turn off the DRL and I am going to cut the dark blue wire on a 98 Cav. I am not sure now what lights I should tape up in the instrument cluster. Someone said the shift light needed to be taped but where is the DRL light I need to tape up?
In the Sticky they said the green light but I don't have any green light.
Any suggestions welcome.

Can anyone out there start their car put it drive with the emergency brake on one click and tell me what idiot lights come on for a 98 Cavalier?

I haven't had my car running for months and can't remember what locations light up or blink when the DRL is cut off using the emergcy brake.

At least it isn't too could outside to do this.......... wait a few more months....

if you take the cluster out (very simple to do) you can take the black plastic out and look through it to see where the cutouts for the light are. its really not that hard.

I guess I will put my cluster back together, hook up my battery and then I will be able to see which lights are on that I need to cover with tape. No big, just thought someone while going to work might notice which lights will be on once I cut that blue wire.
