I know this topic has probally been posted 10000 times and by the search results it seems to be true.... but here's the deal... I got my back three windows (2dr sunfire gt) tinted professionally on wednesday.... I let the car sit out in the sun wed, thurs and all day today.... seems like the tint has dried... but now i'm starting to notice really small bubbles close to the far edges.. is this normal during the drying stage or should i be contacting the place that did the tinting?
im no expert at all, but just a thought.
let it keep drying for a week or so... it could just be moisture getting to the edges and working its way out. im assuming you have had the windows up for this period and not put them down?
i did my own tinting and it never bubbled so i would take it back to the place that did it and have them fix it.
horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.
The windows that were tinted cannot go down since it's a 2 dr coupe... so that's not the problem.... i'm not really talking about the normal type of bubbling.... there's just a couple really really small ones... nothing like you see when someone mentions normal tint bubbling
get a pin a make tiny pin pricks on the bubles and push them out

sorry i missed that. if you cant get the bubbles worked out, i would take it back to them and have them look at it
K so I inspected it a bit more... looks like some very fine fibers got caught under the tint.... I contacted the tinter and took my vehicle down to show.... he says that since they are such small bubbles (like we are talking about very very small) that he can re-tint the window... however he did mention that the dot matrix was perfectly adheard (which is true there is no white)... So do i get them to re-tint the back window to remove some small bubbles you can't tell are there unless you look really close and chance havign the dot matrix not adhere... or should i just suck it up and keep it the way it is...
retint it bro, you paid money for the job right, dont let him rip you off. If you noticed it...someone else will.
