I am going to be buying some z3 fenders that were meant for a 95-99 cavy and i have a 03.. what do i need to do to make this fit?? just shave off the headlight bolt thing? anything else? also what is needed to install these?? anyone have a set of instructions? is it complicated?
why would you buy parts for your car from the wrong year. Why not just buy the parts for the correct year. Seems to make more sense to me.
do they have some for the right year?! z3 fenders?
you need to do a 95-99 front end conversion.
new headlights, new front bumper, rewire the headlights for the 95-99 front lights. thats all i cna think of now
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
if you get 00-02 Z3's they will bolt right up

yes the fenders are the same as the 03+

The only difference in the 95-99 fenders and the 00-05 fenders are the corner brackets. Simply cut those away and you're good to go.
ok so wait.. will the 99 fit or not?? or is the 01-02 ones just a direct bolt on??
can i get the 99's to fit just by cutting that thing? or will it not fit period?
just sell them. not worth the hassel imo. not sure if they do fit but i bought ones made for my car and they dont look that great and are a pain in the ass. just my opinion tho
In the Exterior Faq just a few posts above this one it says that all fenders 99-05 are interchangeable minus the corner bracket. Cut the corner bracket off and bolt them on it really is that easy!
When you ask the Z24 to take you somewhere fast,
it punches you in the face, throws you over its shoulder,
and runs, screaming, so quickly that its tires can barely keep up.

X2
but IMO your best bet would be realizing its not a BMW and Z3 fenders are a waste of time and money
even if you do buy them. its like a 10 minute job to cut the brackets off.
i dont know why some ppl are making it seem like a big deal....................
all 95 and up fenders are the same, with the exception of that little bracket... which can be cut in under 10 min......
so yes, 95 fenders will fit, after u cut the bracket off............... now if it was the other way around, and u had a 95 and wanted some 03 fenders without the bracket, then it would be tricky..
^ Unless you get those Ebay one-piece headlights w/ corner lights... which don't even bolt to that bracket...

Unless you are planning to widen the fender (like, say a 'yota fender) and 'glass over the vents... for MUCH cheaper.
i got a set of fenders z3 and they bolted up to my 04 no prob no cut no mod at all for me and was listed as 95-02 so from experiance they fit fine just make sure u get quaility set of fenders not knockoff crap.
nvr tried them or seen in person but fiberglass may need work most time any ways
I've had both fibreglass ones (from Soundspeed) and metal stamped ones (from Ebay)... and I'll take metal ones anyday. The fibreglass ones are CRAP and never fit right. You have to do soooooo much work to make them look good.
what type of work are we talking about?
