I would like to gauge how many people would be interested in a Group Purchase for JSP carbon fiber hoods and trunks.
Now, this GP will not be going through JSP or any 3rd party vendors (IE. Summit, A Plus etc). It will actually be going through JSP's manufacturer, CF Technologies
www.cf-tec.com.
I am very tight with guys from CF Tec and they have done alot of work on my car in the past and especially this year. Unfortunately I cannot post pics of them yet until the car debuts at Importfest in three weeks.
They have done work on top show cars such as the "Acurabot" and "Top Tuner Solstice". I am sure most of you know how those two cars look like but if not, you can google them.
The GP will be both for Cavaliers and Sunfires on the following items:
95-02 Chevrolet Cavalier CF Hoods:
- OEM
- Invader Style (functional)
- SS (functional)
03-05 Chevrolet Cavalier CF Hoods:
- OEM (only)
95-05 Chevrolet Cavalier CF Trunks:
- Shaved key hole
- With inners
95-02 Pontiac Sunfire CF Hoods:
- OEM
- OEM (with eyelids)
- Ram Air (functional)
Sorry, but NO CF hoods for 03+ Sunfires and NO CF trunks for the Sunfires.
As for the prices, I will get them within the next couple of days or so. Also, there is NO REQUIRED QUANTITY. The hoods and trunks will produced as soon as the order is filed and shipped ASAP.
I'm interested provided you can beat summits $480 for the trunk shipped to my door by a decent amount. Summits customer service is damn near unmatched, so unless it a decent amount cheaper ten summit I'm gonna go with summit
hmmm I will be checking this to see what the prices are also. Darkstars after I saw this I was like he has to be behind this.
(That was ment to say that you might of got this to happen, but you didn't I know... Damn I'm tired and going to bed now...)

Yup, trying to get it ready by then. I'm hoping the car will be painted by the end of this week or mid next week. From there, the car goes to the stereo shop to put everything back together. If it's not ready by then, we all have to wait until Speedorama or Canadian IAS.

SOME GOOD NEWS FOR YOU SUNFIRE OWNERS.....
I talked to guys from CF TEC over the weekend and said they are willing to start making CF trunklids for the Sunfire coupes.
Sunfire cf trunk lids will be included in the but before they start to make the mould and production:
- CF TEC requires at least 10 people
- 50% deposit
I'm not sure if the trunk lids for the 95-02 and 03+ Sunfires.
If it is different, CF TEC would require at least 10 and 50% deposit for the 95-02 Sunfire trunks and at least 10 and 50% for the 03+.
Now if its the same, then only 10 (in total) and 50% deposit will be required.
$360 CDN for a OEM with eyelids... Kick ass. even better that i won't have 2 pay duties on this either. i'm in now i just have 2 find money 4 this and that new intake in the GP forum
