i found a carbon bumper for 95-99 cavs and i was wondering how hard it would be to cut it to make it fit a 00-02 cav i dont wanna change the headlights.

id have a tough time hacking up a cf bumper knowing how much it costs/is worth

but a cut off wheel and roloc grinder will be your best friend

I'd tape the line off where you want to cut it first. A cut off wheel will work fine.

the proper way to convert from a 95-99 bumper to an 00-02 bumper requires you to make a fiberglass ledge for the lights to "sit" on. so its more than just cutting the bumper to fit the lights. and if you fiberglass anything, then youre going to have to paint part of the bumper to make it look right. just something to think about before you go hackin up a c/f bumper

dont do it just switch the head lights it will be well worth it in the long run. not hard to switch them out just follow the sticky about switching the headlights
