Can we have some pics? How well does it work? How much work is required? Finally what kind of price could you give?

Yup, that's the Buick hinges you see.
It's ugly as heck.
Not for me.

Did you lose interest in starting a gp?

sorry guys my computer crashed and i haven't been on in a while.
any ways the original kit turned out to be crap. the hinges i used kept loosning up and the hood would wobble when folded down ( my kit allows for the hood to open forward over the nose of the car and sit on the ground. or open regularly.) its pretty sweet!!!!! right now im redesigning them with bearings in the hinges, and im also trying to work in some gas shocks.
there is no welding needed, although you will have to cut some of the inside lip of your fender. im trying to eleminate that but thanks to our short ass lips on our fenders its not looking well.
but i promise the final product will be more than worth the money. i know how it feels to get excited about new parts then they turn to be junk. and i don't want to do that to any one.

when using buick hinges you cant keep the bar and the way i did it you have to flip the hinges as in the driver side when its on the buick will be the pass side on the cavi

here is the best pic if you cant figure it out from here i cant help you guys anymore. and this is the first time ive ever showed this. i had to do modifying to the hinge as in cutting it up but i made it work. i would just try to make a bar to connect the 2 again because it is wobbly when you are opening it

Looks simple enough. Not my taste, though. I'd prefer if it just opened and didn't lower....ala 70's model Datsun Z's. But to each their own.
