OK 3rd time this month I had someone follow me to tell me that only my middle brake light comes on when I brake. This is with my DRL's on, not the normal headlights.
Is this normal? Legal?
Ok, just checked. They passed on the emissions test and on my last oil change ~500 miles ago. Neither passenger or driver side lights come on when i brake, with or without headlights on.
I have tail lights, is there a separate bulb?
i had a short in my hazard switch and when it was slid to on position my brake lighs would not work. also check the sockets to make sure the prongs are making conection. like manta said check hazard/brake fuse. never know might be a combination. gl
Its the prongs I just had the same problem wit mine I pulled the bulbs and the prongs wer completely black.
I spent a week chasing it down It drove me nuts.
I put in new bulbs and the problem was fixed
I just cant drive 55
