hey there gang just recently got my car back from the paint shop and one thing i am noticing and cant figure out how to fix is the side skirt peeling away from the body. its at the top of the skirt on the rear quarter panel. its adhered with 3m body tape but it is slowly pulling away. i was just wondering what everybody used to adhere the skirts to the car with out them pulling away. thanks
I've used the black window urethane ( stuff used to install windshields) on all my kits, let it dry and it holds AMAZING!! Just don't use too much, cause when you press the skirt on, don't want too much to ooze out onto the paint. But, it works great.
thanks project z, hey downlinx i didnt forget about ya bro, retail is crazy right, ironically the only thing not painted yet is the front
, my paint guy needed to get the car out of his garage temporarily, but he did a test fit and he said it should work pretty good, believe when i get that bad boy finished up i will get some pics up.

so the windsheild urethene really hold the kits on cause my kit every now n then at shows will bake in the sun and bow off the body so u think that will hold up with the sun.
If you use the window urethane or any type of that hard glue really it can peel your paint off if you ever need to take the skirts off, that's why I will not use the stuff.

well thats good to know but the only way i am going to part my car out is if its totaled and then at that point i wont really care much
I used a few drops of black GOOP automotive trim adhesive along each side. Held all summer with no issues.
combo of amazing goop, 3m tape and a well prepped side (rubbing compound and wax remover)
never had a problem yet *knock knock*
