I just got my 2003 yellow cavalier and i really like it. But... I really don't like the the huge reflector on the trunk that looks like one long tail light. I was wondering if it was possible to remove the lights, shave the trunk, then just add 95-02 tail lights(most likely toyota cavalier tails ? And if so how much will the shave job cost (including paint)? Or am i better of buying the CF bezel from RK Sport? Thank You.

Swap the trunk off a 95-02, they bolt right up and switch outer lights too

except youd probly need paint work
i think the 02 yellow is different from the 03+ yellow
might be cheapest idea to get the cf bezel (karo at carcustoms has the best deal i hear)

Even if he didn't swap trunks it would need paint ne ways when the holes get welded. Your best option for sure if u want the lightbar gone is getting a 95-02 cav trunk and swapping it.

Just like what i did to mine. About $30 for the junkyard trunk, $20 for junkyard taillights, $100 for spoiler(damn ripoff, f*** you Dons Auto Mall), $150 for paint plus i gave him my old trunk and lights. I installed everything myself.

aaarrrrrgggg!!!!!!! I wish i knew that before Don's Auto Mall raped me. Seriously, they wanted like $300 for the trunk and spolier. I went next door to the u-pull it yard and found a trunk lid that was already off a car.
