10.) Do the same on the Toyota lights plug , the black goes to black , brown to brown , the yellow (factory left wire) to light blue of Toyota tail , and green (factory right wire) to light blue of Toyota tail.
11.) Now cut and splice white wire at 3rd brake light and run the white wire to the left and right side of the car , and tap those into the white wires at the Toyota lights
You probably have power and ground crossed.

my ONE thing i think i may not hav edone correctly...does the black wire from both taillights connect together and ALSO to the CAR black wire? (3 way splice)...cuz i only ran the black to black between the two lights??
ok i DEF have SOMETHING messed up....WITH the LIGHTS ON....and pressing the BREAK....BOTH BLINKER LIGHTS COME ON(without blink).

hells yeah, solved my prob. I discovered(which in the writeups they should edit) that all three black wires must be put together for it to work correctly~ I tired it on my right one and now it works right
CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM THIS FOR ME 100% so I know to switch the other one this way too~??? THANKYOU
Yes, they connect together then to the stock wire... Like this:
What is happening when you just do the black wire from socket to socket, the power wire on the unlit socket acts as a ground, then when power is applied to the unlit socket, the other acts as ground and vice versa...
