GM Extreme Tuner Bodykit

I just want to let everyone know that the extreme tuner body kit. is a bitch to put on you have to hack the front bumper up to put the new one over it and the rear is just a lip you add on to the stock bumper and if you have the ls sport model like me you have to cut the rear bumper to. If any one has installed this kit all the way and have some pointers for me they would be gratly appreciated. Dont get me wrong i think it is the best looking kit for the 04 cavi.

I'm pretty sure the GM Extreme Tuner Front replaces the stock bumper altogether, hence why it would be a royal pain to try to put it over the stock one. I'm not sure about the rear but you should be able to figure out a way to rig it up like a regular lip.

^^Actually I've heard from a few people that it does in fact go over the stock bumper.

It does fit ontop of the stock one, I loved the look but this is exactly why I always said my kit was an overpriced piece of @!#$

x2 mine was put on this summer and fits like crap. front is coming off once the turbo kit comes on and we are fixing it. Front is just an overlay. sides are sturdy. rear is just an overlay. its SO MUCH EASIER without having the LS sport kit. I have plenty of pictures of my stock front bumper chopped up if you want em.

Definately trade off the LS Sport kit before hacking it up, both you and someone else could definately benefit there.

If you get send me some pics that would be alot of help. I have the front on but its not lining up to good where the fenders meet it. This is a stupid kit but looks great. As for the side skirts ther are a direct replacement right.

its much easier without an ls sport kit because it was designed for the base model bumpers. my front is ok i didnt hack anything i just put it over the stock one

Does anyone know of a website to purchase this kit from? The chevy site no longer seems to have a section for cav's

meeting at the fenders is the worst spot. and you cant see any of the stock bumper at all. My stock bumper is HACKED. here is a pic...

And no you cant buy them from a dealership any more.

sideskirts are a direct replacement.

believe me its such a pain to get it right. Darkstars spent a LOT of time to finally get his right. but hey what more can you expect from GM

I got mine cut and molded to fit the fender line better. I'm just glad I payed near nothing for it. because there is still more I have to do to get the front bumper the way I want it.
