Window and Mirror install questions

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could tell me real quick how to remove and install a drivers side window in, and also how to remove and install a side view mirror on a 97 cavalier? Thanks.

You will have to remove the door panel..... and the triangular cover that sits just above the door panel... Once the covers are removed... to take off the mirror pull out the peice of foam from the triangular area and there should be 3 nuts in there.... if you have power mirrors simply trace the wire to its connector and disconnect... once those three nuts are off the mirror will pull off........... as for the window pull back the bottom portion of the plastic covering (it's held on by sticky black stuff and is clear plastic).... with the window rolled down about 3/4 you should see the two bolts that hold the window onto the track.. remove the bolts and the glass will lift out

On the window thing, the nuts are 10mm and you just have to loosen them, pull up on the window and cock it in the door, with the front of the glass pointed down and back up. That will release it from the track. When you cock the glass, go to the outside of the frame with the back of the glass.
If you have Manual windows you have to take off the crank handle, there is a u shaped clip on the back side between the plastic washer and the handle. Either you buy the tool to remove it or make one. If you take a metal coat hanger and bend a very short hook on the end, stick it in bettween the plastic washer and handle on the opposite side the crank knob is and try to hook the silver wire loop of the clip and pull.
Door panel, There are 2 screws in the handle, 3 or 4 (2-4 door)along the bottom and sides, and of course the 1 in the triangle behind the mirror. After you get the screws and handle off, grab the bottom crap holder thing and give it a quick sharp tug, If this doesnt work the first time, get a long screwdriver and start prying on the bottom to release teh white pins. when you get the bottom , front and back of the panel loose, pull the bottom out about 12-15 inches and give the top left corner of the door panel a little thump with your hand while pulling up on the panel with the other hand. That releases the top of the panel.
It sounds like its a little brutle on the panel but I have done several and probably could do them with my eyes closed.
Mirror nuts are also 10mm.
