Ok so my fender has been fine (I just recently bought a 98 to turn into my little project) and all of a sudden last night, I went to open the door and somehow it folded the metal in the fender and now I can only open the driver's door about 6-8" before it gets stuck on the fender....
Everything was working fine, and I haven't hit anything and now I have a huge dent in a fender that I was hoping to replace later on but didn't want to do that yet.
Any ideas how I can get the driver's door operational again or what I should do, I thought of prying the metal back and putting it in place but I really don't understand why it got caught like that, and I don't really want to mess up my door or fender worse than they are...I can take pictures and email them if any of yall think that would help.
Other than that this car has been a lot of fun to drive 0_0
check the bolts for tightness on the hinges door could of slipped out of a lign just enough to still latch yet catch the fender.also could be the bushing around the pin in the hinges went bad(broke) the would doit putting a lotta stress on the othe hinge.
