wondering what would look better pearl or flake? and it would be going on a center line yellow cavalier and what colour should i go with? silver? gold?? what would look good on a deep yellow car like that?? any input would be appreciated!!! thanx in advance!!
Neither, both of them are so big that they make any paint job and any car look tacky and rice-y.
If you want something shimmery, go with a metallic paint, but thats about it.

ya dont get a stripe.... 2 tone it or repaint the whole car met.
Pearl and flake makes a car look ricey I would debate that a lot, if done right both look great I have done both. iMO flake isnt worth it it looks great in some lights but in others you can't even tell
Orange Pearl/Black pearl paint
black with red F20 house of kolor flake
Pearls in my opinion look very classy and not ricey. Also, pearls are not big, they are very fine and are powder like. Flakes on the other hand can be quite huge and can sometimes look like the paint jobs that be on boats, lol, but they too can look great if done right.
I'd pick a pearl over a flake job any day, but pearls are more expensive of course.
Anyway, here is my Lexus white pearl up close.
i like that orange sunfire
I like a fine pearl, but some of the larger flakes just look tacky in my opinion. pearl>flake
ill slightly take back what i said -
I prefer a fine pearl in certain paints, like a caddy pearl white.
