If theres anything I'm missing please let me know and if I need more paint then listed as well. I am just looking for new car look NOT SHOW. I was wanting 2-3 coats primer, 3 coats base, 3-4 coats clear. Thanks for your time guys I really appreciate it.
Yeah def get a gallon.
And if the Finishline gun you are referring to is the one from DeVilbiss, excellent choice, I paint all my stuff with those guns and I couldn't be happier.
Make sure to get an inline pressure regulator for your gun as well. And spend the few bucks (like $20 if you go somewhere like Harbor Freight Tools) and get yourself a partial respirator...like the ones that use charcoal filter disks...paint fumes are like 100x worse than breathing in fiberglass/filler dust. That @!#$ destroys your lungs.
Also get some Prep-All Solution (like $8 for a quart at WallyMart) and some tack cloths. Before you primer or anything wipe down every surface with Prep, then go back over with a tack cloth - the two will get off every last bit of dirt and give you a really clean paint job.
Good luck with the repaint!
