Hello,
I currently have the steel Z3 fenders on my 01 cavy. But with steel comes rust, which these are unfortunately doing...I want to replace them with some fiberglass ones, or
poly fiber.
I have a fiberglass invader hood, fiberglass eyelids, Wings West lip kit, and want to know some recomendations for fenders that will flow well with the car. I have seen a few styles, but I know there are TONS more. I am also looking for something that has good fitment, that people have succesfully installed with little/no modification to fit correctly. PIcs or links would help me out.
Thanks in advance...
I just want something that will flow good with my other exterior mods, and looking for suggestions. Once rust happens, its always there is the background. I would rather replace than repair when it comes to rust....so this is a good oportunity for me to change the styling up a bit. I have seen some F1's...not bad, looking for something I haven't seen yet hopefully.
toyota fenders, or stock, the Z3 and F1's are horrible looking that more of a honda thing IMO
x2 on Stock or Toyota Fenders.
^^^ actually thats x3...
I will agree that a lot of the fenders out there are pretty ricey, which is why I was hoping for some pictures. The fiberglass z3's are horrid, I do like my steel ones (except for the rust), but they are a lot different than the fiberglass ones. Just looking for some other options....Since it has been suggested several times, where is a good place to source the toyo fenders?
or just get the part numbers and go to your dealership and order them but beware they are not cheap by no means
Well cheap glass fenders are like $35 plus $150 shipping....let me guess if those fit...
Thats not TO bad a price at all, especially for OEM fitment. If I remember correctly the toyo's have side marker lights, and slightly flared wheel wells correct? Anyone happen to have a good set of pics? I did a search, found a few, but would always like more.
Thanks for the suggestions....any more feel free to chime in.
(tabs) wrote:lots of dealerships wont let you order them because they are listed as "export only" in their computer. thats why GMD is used. and on their site, last time i checked, they were like 125 each, or somewhere around there. so not too bad when compared to 150-200 for cheap glass aftermarket fenders.
the dealership where I live it is like 180 for the driver and 210 for the passenger

of course shipping is extra on top of those ^^^ prices, but still pretty good. so you can spend $185 for cheap ass glass fenders or a little over $250 for OEM parts from GM.
this pic is jay's and was in another post about toyos.
good stuff.
95+ Cavalier and Sunfire Convertible Service Manual! A must read for vert owners!
is there a difference in the LOOK of the toyo fenders, or is it just the marker light?
i just didnt notice a difference in the pic
