tweakin tha skirts

i have a set of 95 fire gt skirts that i wanna do some f/g
work to im just wondering if someone can give me some advice on how to prep em so the fiberglass doesn't come loose. also i need to know what the best material to use for forming the shapes. (for the lack of better words)
im trying to flare out the bottom and add a louver behind the door. kinda like a cross between the drift and type j skirts.
will cardbord work? ive used that on some small interior projects. this is a much bigger scale and i don't want it to be all wavy and look like @!#$ when im done.

no i aint gonna paint it!

use your stock skirts as a mold and make a set of glass skirts. then you can glass them however you want and not have to worry about it not sticking. also, cardboard works, but something better like sculpting foam is preferred.
