I have a tiny bottle of goo gone(you can see it on the trunk)
Where do you get the large spray bottle of it?
I can't find it at auto zone or advanced...
How long does the goo gone have to sit before it starts to work?
My Cavalier is a 98' and I know the paint is faded a bit,
If I removed them, and the paint underneath is too much of an eye sore, how hard would it be to reattach the moldings?
Also, as you can see in trunk pic, I cannot get that last remains of the dealer sticker off.
Not matter how hard I try. they just wont budge. Any ideas?

I would pic up an spray can of adhesive remover from and auto parts store and do it that way.

Well, I haven't seen ANY type of an adhesive remove in a spray bottle.
Would it work if I poured what I had into an empty spray bottle?

It is not in a spray bottle, it is in a spray paint like can. There are two common brands Aircraft and 3M. I have used the aircraft but not the 3M so I could not tell you which will work better. I think bulldog also makes some in the spray can. It is some potent stuff and you will want to wear gloves and make sure you don't do it in an enclosed area.

What about the paint?
Do I need to do anything to protect the paint, or remove it in a certain amount of time?

get the big bottle of goo gone from somewhere, grocery stores have it, walmart. just spray it on, let it soak for a bit, then use fishing line and cut them off. then just rub the glue off by hand.
i work for a dealership as a detailer and we use three different chemicals for sticker and glue removal.
1. clear kerosene (works great on tar and glue)
if that dont work
2. paint thinner (works really good but you gotta be quick with it.)
then get yourself a degreaser of some sort for the residue the two chemicals leave. with the paint thinner and how old your paint is i would not advise it. i would try and get your hands on some clear kerosene. works excellent on glue.
At my dealer we use acrasol (sp?) But I know at the Walmart they sell the big spray bottles of Goo Gone

i used my thumb and it took an hour to get that tape crap off the side then i sprayed wd40 to get the rest of the residue off worked fine for me if you dont mind hard work
Well I got the emblems off fine.
I know how to use the fishing string.
Its the gunk left afterwords that I was having issues with.

i wanted to take my side moldings off also..... but goo gone works the best on debadging i think... at least for me it did....

Get Goo Gone at Home Depot. They make it in a spray bottle that's like a gel, it works the best to stay on surfaces that aren't flat (IE doors).

2004 Cavalier LS Sport - Victory Red
I just did my debadging today and i tried the goo gone and it took to much effort so i went to the parts store and got some 3M adhesive remover in the spray can. In my opinion this stuff works very good. I just sprayed some let it soak and went underneath with a old credit card because i didn't have fishing line. Came right off, also works good to take pin striping off too.
i took the difficult way of doing this, but then i got type j sides and put a new set back on... lol
anyway
i did it this way
heat gun
plastic razor blades
goo gone
put goo gone along the edge, and scrape it with the plastic blade, then heat gun it for a minute or so, and pull pull pull slowly and firmly.
didnt have much residue either after i was done, then i waxed the area really well and it looked 100%
