anyone want to give me tips here. im going to make a hatchetman(insane clown posse) that sits on the hood raised about an inch off. anything i should know when i go to attach it directly to the hood?
Not always true, you can attach it to a metal hood, but dont think fiberglass is going to work. What you should use is called Fusor, it has a great bond. But unless your real good, I would say you will probably expierence spider cracking. the problem with using fiberglass, is the hood has temperature changes which break the bond of metal and fiberglass.

plus the hood will experience greater temperature changes due to the fact that its right over the engine. and even if you are gentle when closing the hood you are going to be putting much more stress on it than if you were glassing on a different piece or area of metal.

i'm hand laying out a hatchetman either on foam or on mdf for a basis to later apply. if it turns out crap then i'll turn to stickers but thats last resort
