Hey guys,
I recently purchased an rksport ram air hood for my fire. I was wondering if it would be alright to put it on today if it is going to be on the car for two days before paint. It is supposed to rain the next two days, but today is the only day i can put the hood on as i have to work the days before it and bring in the hood and car in wednesday morning.

might as well test fitment to avoid things going wrong later
leaving it in the rain wont hurt it at all, mine was in the rain for a bit and I live in rainy B.C, and it is fine like (TABS) said there is a gel coat on it.
so how do you like the hood

yeah it has the gelcoat on it. does that mean that you can just paint over that with paint or have to prime that too? I love the hood! I just need to adjust the fit a little bit more though...the right side is closer to the fender than the left but i'll let the body shop fix that.
all basic prep will need done
