On my 2002 Z24, 2 door cavy, there are hard plastic door ding protector strips along the doors. Then a small piece of it continues to the beginning of the rear fender. I am thinking about getting the RkSport Type-J kit and was wondering how high the side skirt goes? Do I need to take off the side strip protector, or is the side skirt shorter then that? If I need to take it off, does the side skirt cover the spot where the strip would need to be removed, or do I need to repaint it after removing the strip? Also, what is the best way to remove the strip? Thanks in advance!

i believe you have to take it off, but why wouldn't you anyways. it'll look stupid with them on and the type j sides on there.

yea thats true for the rear one, but will the front one line up with the side skirt?

i dont think the front lines up from what i remeber and it comes with a new front one(door part) anyways. so what is the big worry about.
