Proboly would be best to weld a roof on a vert., then cut the targa out. The thought has crossed my mind before but i dont have the funds, experiance, and resources to attempt it.
maybe im just blowing smoke here.... but i had the same idea.
i thought a frame behind the drivers seat, and along the floor boards would be good to support it... any thoughts? obviously i wouldnt try this myself... what about T tops? that seems very similar to the sunroof idea, i dont think it would put to much pressure on the support structure either.
only way to do it IMO is using a vert car, and adding the hard top off a non-vert cav.
this would take insane custom work, and if you have to ask how to do it.....you shouldnt attempt it
