I would check with your local state/provincial laws.... chances are it is illegal to have any other forward light then white... except for park light/ signals

at the two replies above....

I'd look for Luminics JDM Yellow or Type R Galaxy Yellow.

I had Galaxy Yellow before I switched to Luminics Ultra White and the light output was better than stock and the color was a more vivid yellow. But I'd recommend Luminics over Type R.

Jason at A Plus Performance probably has a set left of 9007 JDM Yellows left here....

....On that same page you'll see a pic of fog lights with JDM Yellows.

You've never heard of laws against anything other then white light??? this is straight from the safety traffic act from my province...

Division 1
Headlamps

6(1) A motor vehicle, other than a motor cycle or moped, must have at least 2 headlamps, one on each side of the front of the motor vehicle.

(2) A headlamp must be mounted so that the centre of the headlamp is not more than 1.4 metres and not less than 560 millimetres above ground level when the motor vehicle is not loaded.

(3) Subsection (2) does not apply to a snowplough truck.

(4) The light from a headlamp must be white, and the lens and bulb of the headlamp must be made of clear, untinted glazing.
(5) A person shall not attach or apply anything that colours the light from a headlamp to the headlamp, part of the headlamp or a bulb in the headlamps.

The visibility will suck either way because the glass is colored, so your just filtering all light out except yellow. If you want the most yellow head lights, go to a craft store and buy stainglass paint, lay three coats. After it dies throw a good bulb in and then it will be pure yellow.

Cops, I have to say do not care less. I have seen people with with bright blue headlights drive past cops, purple, pink... yes pink, green and they all have gotten away with it.

Most bulbs from the factory are 4300k which has a noticeable hint of yellow so cops are much more likely to hassle someone for headlights that are too blue than ones that are too yellow. I was speaking from personal experience that yellow bulbs do provide good visibility and are a much better option than the blue bulbs that everyone wants. I'd take my old 5000k Galaxy Yellows over my old 5900k Hipropowers any day of the week.

I have the luminics JDM Yellow ones from Jason at Aplus and I love them! They are much better for visibility than my previous blue ones. They are awesome in rain snow and fog.

No pics though.

I've got a few pics of the tC with those headlights, and yeah check local laws because even if you live in another state and you drive though a state it's illegal in you might get a ticket for them.

For the GT car look, try this: http://www.lamin-x.com/ I have seen it on a few cars and it looks pretty cool. visibility is actually better in rain and fog with yellow lights.

For the yellow headlights?

Did you check you states lighting equipment laws or just take the cops word for it? I have a hard time believing that they gave you a ticket for yellow headlights when some cars used to come with yellow tinted fog lights from the factory. Always read the actual law before giving in to the state. You would be surprised how often cops are wrong on vehicle equipment laws. I used to have cops try to give me tickets for driving with my fog lights and headlamps on in my IROC. They said you can only have one set of lights on at a time. Well thats bull@!#$ for two reasons. 1) on the Camaro when the high beams are on the low beams stay lit but the fog lights go out. Turn the high beams off and the fog lights come back on. Most of the time that shut them up but if not we come to 2) I carried around a copy of the applicable section of the Illinois vehicle code from the secretary of states website specifically outlining the section that states that two auxiliary lights may be on in addition to the main headlamp.
