What to use to Clean Glue off of Fenders

I just took my Z24 Emblems off today and have some glue that is on the fenders that need to come off

I tried Hot water with a green scrubby

The Green solution(can't think of name) but was scared that might eat the clear coat so I washed that off right away.Worked good and had a nice minty smell ha-ha

was thinking of using some Gunk engine cleaner but again don't want it to eat away at anything and was thinking rubbing alochol.

I was using a flat head screw driver wrapped in a tea-towel with some water and gently scraped the glue off

I did get a few nicks but I'm going to use that Dupla-colour pen and touch them up,hope it works well don't want rust to start.I can tell these emblems had been replaced before hand as well before I even got the car as theres some good marks.

So I have a little extra to clean up but I'm not sure on what to use

If you can help please share

thanks

I have been told theres two kinds

Automotive use-spray type

House hold use-Bottle

Is there any Difference between the two, also did you just let it sit on the paint or did you put it on and scrub and wash it right off.

also should i wax the area right way after everything is dry and or wait

also will I have a problem with those Nicks,Will these chemicals start it to rust

thanks for all the responses
