Well I'm looking to purchase a CF hood here in the very near future, and I was checking out the Seibon hoods. I've noticed that no one really has them on here though. I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen one, if so what is the quality like? Do you know if they have rolled edges or are they just cut? Any information on them would be awesome. If they suck I'll probably just go with ViS...
Seibon is a HUGE name in CF products just not with jbodys... They are more associated with higher end cars... and civics
I know I've seen their ads in magazines and such before, I just wasn't sure of the quality.

do they even make hoods for jbodys? well they may now...i know they didnt use to.

I've found them on a couple different sites, but at the same time I don't see them on their official site...
I'm almost thinking they might have made them a while ago, and stopped. Now the websites are just left with the old stock of them...
When I went to SEMA, almost
everyone had Seibon written on their stuff, so they must be pretty big and good quality. But I personally haven't dealt w/ them.

seriously......you havent noticed that the majority of J owners will take a 50/50 chance on some ebay piece of crap over paying for quality?
friend has one. rolled edges and such.., but the finish got badly ruined.., so the clear is all cloudy

isn't that normal with cf hoods??? I thought if you didn't paint them you risked clouding...
not thati know of..,but the clouding was due to a @!#$ty body shop @!#$ it up some how.

the way I see it.. Why pay over 1000 for a hood to put on a car thats not worth @!#$ to start with.. kind of a waste..
any mods to a cavalier is a waste....
personally I will gladly waste extra money for quality
