Do the 00+ rear bumper covers have the same mounting points as the 95-99 style rear bumpers?
simple answer...
YES
elongated answer...
YES but the filler plates under the outer tails are part of the bumper. you will either have to A) buy the bracket to hold them on, B) drill a hole or two and use zipties (I had done this when i had a 00-02 bumper) or C) cut the filler plates of the bumper and use the ones you have now.

SO EVERYTHING!
If doing option C as listed above (which is what I did), make sure to add a couple of L brackets to keep the bumper from sagging under the trunklid.

Some are like that and some aren't. I have seen them come with the filler plates attached to the rear bumper and some without the filler plates attached. Luck of the draw I guess.

bringing this back from the major dead... only question i have is about the CRUSH GUARD...
will the 95-99 z crush guard work with a 00-02 z rear?? or do i need to buy the 00-02 crush guard?
Riddle me this... riddle me that...
doesnt rksport make replacement filler panels for this purpose?

huh?? i dont know where that came from but the bumper i have has the filler panels molded in with the bumper. i would prefer the 95-99 style, but oh well... im not cutting them off a $400 bumper.
