I got an idea the other day, I'll show you....
take your stock emblem and cut along the seam of the inside, where the blue, or red piece sits insite the housing, be careful not to slip with the blade and cut your paint or yourself.
carefully work the emblem out of the housing, be careful not to break the insert...
spray the insert with the color of your choice...
replace the painted insert into the housing, use super glue or whatever you prefer....

x2
or the blue emblems on blue cars work too
but your job looks pretty good too!
yeah I guess it does, but I can tell you it looks tits on a white leer...lol.
for my money, i say shave the badges......but this is an acceptable alternative to shaving i guess
see I would but the paint came off on the emblem when I took them off, I didn't use any chemicals or anything, so I'm leaving them on cuz I don't want to repaint my car right now, I did get the "Chevrolet" and the "Cavalier" emblems off though with no problems.
I prefer Shaving and debadging emblems myself over stickers or painted emblems
