Question - will there be any issues with the CF on either a JSP or a VIS CF trunk when mounting a wing? Also, are JSP/VIS actual CF or layed over metal?

Right place, wrong time, right person, wrong situation
you install a wing just the same as you would on a normal trunk. the only difference is that once you do install it, youre pretty much stuck with it on there since there are no ways to fill in the mounting holes (and not be obvious) on the c/f trunk.
and they are made out of c/f laid over fiberglass
