Hello Everyone I have a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire 2 Door. Where can I find clear side marker lights for it? Is there any company that makes them? I'd appreciate anybody that could help me with finding them. Thanks so much Curtis
i would like to know the same thing, actually i need to clarify the year. i bought soem off ebay saying they were 98 99 00 01 PONTIAC FIREBIRD CLEAR REAR BUMPER LIGHTS, and they were not right...so did i go wrong getting firebird ones, or did i go wrong getting rears?

You need Firebird
front side markers. You must have ordered
rear ones.

Hey J, any chance you can measure the clears on ur car. i am thinking yours are about and inch shorter then the 2003 - 2005 Sunfire's...I found and ebay auction for the lights you said we need, and the guy told me they measure 5x1.5 roughly. Mine that i need are about an inch longer then that

Nope they are the same size. I actually bought a set of the clear sidemarkers from her, and they are mounted on my 03-05 front bumper.
You can make some from plexiglass pretty easily, thats what I did. Just trace the pattern, cut it out, paint the inside of the bulb housing and seal it up.
what about the rears....from what the guy replied to me when i asked him a question, it seems they will be too small...

They measure 6 and 13/16ths, and they will work on both the front and rear of the Sunfires. I don't know exactly what the ones I have were sold as because I bought them used from J to Envy.

I am planning on going to the local junkyard this coming Saturday. I will take a tape measure so I can check the measurements of the Firebird side markers against the Sunfire ones so we can figure this out once and for all.

All I remember is the box they came in said '98 - '02 Firebird. I don't remember if it said whether they were front or rear, but I just did some quick research on GM Parts Direct and the Firebird front side markers came up as all the same from a '98-'02 and the rear side markers came up all the same from '93-'02 so I would assume the front side markers are the proper ones, but like I said, I will double check this Saturday and find out for sure.
Thanks J, I think i jsut got a raw deal and the ebay seller i bought from sent the wrong ones....but if u can measure it would be great. I will hold off on oredering until u get back to me...THANKS AGAIM

Could be. Was it a seller who was selling front and rear ones? If so, than that is probably exactly what happened.
yeah, they had both listed im pretty sure...they had like a whole firebird (in piece) listed almost....
You need the REAR firebird clear sidemarkers, not the front. The front ones are shorter..

So i just looked on 1994 25th anniversary Trans-Am parked right next to mine outisde my work, and the number on the rear side markers of the firebird (molded onto the piece) is "3 GM 2F", and "3 GM 2J" on mine.....hmmm.... f body jbody designation....you need the rears....i just confirmed it..
1993-2002 trans am/firebird rear side markers are what is needed.....

Okay, now I feel like a complete ass because I've been telling everyone they need Firebird
front side markers
. I swear when I got mine back in 2004 from Pro Car Parts, the box said they were Firebird

The only reason I looked, was becuase the ones I bought on ebay were labeled as rear, but were too too too small. So when I got to work and noticed the Trans Am next to me I measured and investigated. HOWEVER, investigate the 1998-2002 Firebird fronts. they MIGHT be the same....
J change it to 1993-2002...as the are all interchangable...
