so over the winter/spring i have to get a tiny bit of body work done, scuff mark on my rear bumper from backing into a car, little bit of rust on right rear quarter plus shaving the antenna and...my new import fighter front bumper ...anyways you guys know what my car looks like...just basically gm white but a tad brighter. I was thinking of getting it sprayed the cadillac pearl white...opinions? and if possible does anyone have pics of their cavy sprayed this color or pics of any cavy sprayed this color? and one more thing i was looking for the paine code online...is is called "White Diamond Pri Metallic Tri-coat" ? or if not does someone know what the actual name of the color is and what the code is for it? thanks alot

Cadillac Pearl White is an amazing color if it's done right

I've sprayed that color before and the pearl coat alone from Sherwin Williams was like $500 a gallon.
Btw, there is someone one here that did their cavy in a white pearl but i don't remember who.

hahah thanks for the help but I have decided againts this color for now. mostly cause my best friend drives a pearl white WRX...we hang around togethet enough and both have white cars as it is...if we both have pearl white cars...well just kinda weird...plus i am pondering a complete color change. thinking something like a nice blue or dark cherry red. if i don't change it it'll be going the same as it is now...really bright white. I should have my import fighter front on monday as well

just remember that if it is a complete color change there will be a BIG difference in the final price considering there is a lot more prep work, materials and labor needed to get a complete color change done. You also have to decide on what you want to do with the windows. If you keep them in with the color change then you have you tape back the moldings, but if your not careful it will still leave a little line of the old color rather then having a clean cut paint job. Now your other option is to take out all of the windows. Quarter panel windows are easy to take out you just have to take out some interior pieces. Then you have your front and rear window. I would HIGHLY reccomend having a professional take them out so you do not damage anything. Other things you have to think about is whether not you want to have your engine bay color changed as well (Please do because it looks tacky if you do not)

Just remember 1 thing if you do a complete color change it means EVERY peice of white needs to be sanded down and prepped for painting including moving things out of the way just to get to them. So this will cause a lot more work meaning more money if you don't do it yourself.

well i thinkmine is just staying th same white that it is now. i want to change the color kinda. but i don't think i'll have the coin to doitproperly so i ain't gonna try...i don't want it looking half assed. on the brighter note...my import fighter front bumper finally showed up today after 3months of waiting and emailing and other BS. i'mpumped can't waitfor next year to rock this bumper

Well its an older Lexus color. It was used from 1998-2002 I think... Im not for certain. The color is called Diamond White Pearl. The glacier frost mica wasn't in the color code book I had at the time.

i took the color off a 2005 bonneville GXP....its like a bluish goldish pearl...very neat color in person man..youve probably seen a couple.
