Aluminum wings done tastefully
thats an oxymoron if I've ever heard one.
and you're sig is too big. 500 pixels wide by 200 pixels tall is the limit.
kandance : you should def go with a gt3 carbon fiber wing it would make the pink pop
The best aluminum spoiler I saw was on a blue 03+ fire that was set up like a pro-stock with splitter struts holding it up......but I cant find the pics now.
its not 2001. aluminum wings are OUT
ive seen functional alum drag spoilers that contour the trunk lid and dont have any struts. had about 3 inchs of over hang. but every one ive seen has been custom made and had a chute below it. so unless you have a 11 sec drag car forget it
(in my opinion) the only way to make it look close to 'good' is to have it be just barely off the trunk. I think John up there is thinking of the same thing I am.

See sig below..says it all..
but to each his/her own i guess..just my oppinion..lol
yet again i ask...why? why put a wing on a front wheel drive vehicle? all it does is create drag and slow u down and make u look stupid. if ur gonna put on wing on ur car, put it on the hood, cuz if u think it looks good on the back u should make the front match
and your "beater" can beat me right? by the way, i dynoed so that i can hav a feel for what ive got. im actually impressed with the numbers i got.

Hardcore son.
Because our club had the dyno for the whole day. I made a run for baseline numbers too. Wouldn't you take a cheap or in my case free run on a dyno for the heck of it?
so make a new post about your dyno numbers!

lol, Just for the sake of argument.....
105 whp and 107 ft lbs?
103 whp, 123 ft lbs of torque, 16.83 1/4mile, 10.53 1/8mile
Can't forget the Bomex wing for the Sunfires. Not my taste but it's better than the 10ft aluminum wings.

you're digging it deeper lol
2001 Olds Alero (LD9)
650 whp / 543 ft-lb
@turboalero
Man always a cock battle... Were talking 4 cyl. cavaliers here gentlemen, not Prostock cars. Why the constant little guy sydrome e-bashing?
To the OP, you should do what you like, this will go on for pages but you have seen the majority opinion.
BTW, rims kinda kill the car. Just an opinion though, i'd go with a more suttle rim not so flashy.
