Question for 03-05 Cavaliers

I'm not sure if this was asked already..but

Say you have a base model 03-05 cavalier and you swap a LS Sport front end...You want the stock fog lights and want the stock switch for them to turn them on how would this work?

The factory wiring for the fog lights is really integrated.

I'd say the easiest way would be to wire them straight up with a relay using a factory switch. Then you also won't have the annoying feature that turns off your fog lights when using high beams.

Yup.. wire them to a relay with a 12V source and you will be set.

but since I know you are in PA, make sure you also have them turn off with the high beams. A really stingy inspection station will snag you up for that.

ok so no using the stock wireing...

whats a good relay to use and do you know the best way to wire it?

i don't have a problem with inspection stations but when and if it won't matter i will have low hids

Just go to Autozone and grab a basic relay that uses a 10 amp fuse. 10 amps should be enough.
