Wow. That looks like the sort of work I would achieve on my own, and I have zero bodywork skill.

how do you know the wood screws didnt come with the kit? well at least he can drift now and not worry about it
I like the little wood shims too. i see a bargain hunter who got burned thats what i see. He lives in californa and hes too stupid to relize you have to bleed out of your ass to pay for it. Think about it why would a decent body shop want to install abody kit when they do insurance claims?

wow. makes me sick just looking at it. how the hell can you give someone their car back like that. if you own a body shop, you should be able to do body work at least damn.

not trying to defend the guy but it looks like the owner of the 350z bought a cheap @!#$ty fitting kit. the paint work though, is a whole different story. i can rattle can better than that.

thats what happens when you spend more on your headlights than on a total body kit install and paint.

to bad, that is total crap work.....but thats why everyone who asks questions about paint work, we always tell them you get what you pay for.

>:o >:o >:o >:o

I'm totally speechless. I hate Macco, but I seriously think they would have done a better job than that. Wow. I've undercharged people for bodywork/paint before, where I should have charged them more and ended up losing my arse on their car, but I'd never.... NEVER let ANYTHING go looking like that. If I'm undercharging someone, that's my fault. Wow... just wow...

I seriously hope that dude can get that arse to pay to get his car fixed RIGHT and has some sort of recourse. There's no excuse for that crappy of work. Heck you could blindfold myself or big daddy and we'd still turn out a job a helluva lot better than that (or any of the other auto body people on here that don't post often).

Wow...

That is by far the nicest body work i have ever seen. This guy needs to be in the body shop hall of fame.....this is definately the kind of work that should recieve an award the craftsman ship and creativity of this guy utilizing his skill and know-how to use screws and even wood on a vehicle is just superior work. i would take my car there and recommend that everyone else does too if they want quality work and a show like quality.....the guys paint skills are off the charts very clean and reflective......damn thats some good @!#$ i was smoking.......woooo how does this guy not get shot seriously......i wouldnt take my beater to him for an oil change.....wow unbelieveable......

Not to be a dick but if you have to talk to a body shop through AIM or any messaging program, it's probably a hack guy who thinks he can do paint and body work just because he can buy the materials to do so. This happens alot with quote unquote ricers who try to do custom work or their own work.

on a lighter note, the best image there was this GMPP decal lol

Without it even being test fitted, Mike had already quoted me at $250.

That included all prep, installation, and paint.

What to say that hasn't already been said. If you can afford a 300z, you can afford to pay for good bodywork. Looks good on him for trying go cheap. Would be interesting to see how much he paid.

friends don't let friends do bodywork! you get what you pay for, lesson learned!

now... did you really think you would get quality work for that?

i was quoted $1300 to have my STOCK bumpers/side skirts and door handles painted AND i was doing all the work taking them off and putting them back on. oh and get this... by a QUALITY body shop that i know and TRUST.

give me a fuggin break, you get what you pay for.

thats why i thought the post was more funny then sickening. i dont have much compassion for someone that doesnt bother doing their homework and just throws they keys to the guy who will do it for the lowest cost without checking out past cars and previous work. might as well start giving out your bank account number to those emails everyone gets.

in this guy's defense, that color is ridiculously hard to match....but I can't explain the lack of prep or anxiety with a screw gun lol
