Well I've had my ls sport skirts on for about two months with only two screws on each side, I have the clips or whatever they are that go along the inside of the skirt. Since my car is the base cav it doesnnt have the holes, my question is what is the correct size drill bit used to make the holes for these clips? I really wanna put em on already I'm scared the skirts are gonna fly off or something lol
I have no idea honestly.
I just used 3M side molding tape and covers the end of the skirt from one end to the other where it makes contact with the rocker panel(?).
Been on there for a good 5-6 months no issues.
Still used the screws on the end tho.

I would honestly just use a self tapping screw.....
done
Yea but I don't see how the skirts would stay on using a screw since the holes are really big and the other clips just kinda pop on
Ill try to get some but it sucks cuz I get on the internet on my blackberry so no hosting pics for me anywere and if it does work it totally slows down the phone
i used self tapping screws... along the bottom and one on each corner .... been there for umm almost a year now

13.1 @ 115
it was a pain for mine i used painters tape and finger nail polish to get a template and i used a 5/16s drill bit

So the 5/16's drill bit makes the right sized hole? Not too big and not too small?

same here....don't even need that many and it takes 5 minutes
When u say along the bottom do u mean the part right under the door or the part actually under the car? Because I know that the ls skirts are fastened under the car but the guy who had em before me cut that part off and just had them with the clips, ill try that but won't the screws slide out since they are so thin the hole for the clips are pretty wide
I'll be in this boat as well soon. I have an 04 cav that's getting some LS sides....as soon as they get shipped that is :p
