what kind of projector

Hey every one, i'm looking into making my own set of projector head lights for my cavy with the 00-02 style and i want to know what would be the best projector to go with i dont need to worry about hi beams cause i'm goin to do hid's, i'm planning to make a trip to the wrecking yards this weekend and snoop around the body i work at and see what i can fine. any ideas would be great.

Just because you are going HID does not mean you shouldnt worry about high beams.

Lots of people go with the infinity FX series projectors. grab some up if there are any there.




then you will have both high and low beam.

yea true i can grab a set for the hi and low beams in one unit but finding those infinity FX series projector will be pretty hard to find at a wrecker, is there any other kind of projector i can get for both hi and lows.

sure, lots of cars use a bi-xenon projector, lots of BMW, Benz's, porches, audi's. you just have to pull them out and look to see if they are bi-xenon or not.

make sure you get the bulb clips, and wiring pigtail for the flapper.

and also, you have to think about space constraints with the projector. although you can easily modify your rad support to fit the projector, it is nice if you dont have to.

IF your looking for jsut lows.. which I would say not to. The Acura TSX projector offers the best output and hands down best cutoff.

FX bixenons are your sure-fire bet with cav headlights. Check ebay and make sure the lense on the projector is a clear one.

yea i seen so bi xenons o ebay for about 40 each so i cant find any at a wrecker i might just do that.
