I really want a kit that takes away from the stock look but something that isnt too flashy. This was the only kit that I could find that fufilled that want but I dont really like the way it looks. How does it look on your fires? Please post your pics of this lip kit.
Also, I was thinking, does anyone think this front lip would look any better upside down?
I have never seen an "LS" front skirt for a Sunfire. Only lip for the 00-02 Sunfires was the RK sport lip.
WW made a lip for the 99 se style bumpers... i think i saw one for sale a while ago on here. other "front skirts"....i believe the kit that GM made was just covers that went over existing bumpers, but like all thats GM was hardly produced and slightly impossible to find now a days... and of course expensive! lol

WW did make a front skirt for the 95-mid 00's. I have one (not installed).
I was talking about the lip kit made by RK Sport. Thats the name they gave it on their website.
The lip that you have tho Ryan, I kinda like on your car. I honestly thought it was a$$ ugly originally on the model car, but now that I see it on your car, i like it. That lip kit also says 95-99, so I suppose it wouldn't work on my 2000...

oh crap i forgot about the rk sport one. Yea the WW was made for the 95-99 SE bumper and the rksport was made for the 00-02 front. I dunno whats different about the 2 bumper styles besides the 95-99 GT and 00-02 bumpers what fogs/singles in the bumpers.
I wish there were more options. Every single kit ive ever seen for the Fire is big and gawdy. I wish a company would make something for our cars

I completely agree. They are all huge and over the top. They can't make a kit thats mild and not too flashy? also, the only 2 lip kits they make are for 2 different years and the 00-02 is ugly IMO. I have no clue what RK was thinking when they designed that front lip
Well after checking out Weasel's car a little more in depth than usual, i've decided to either go with the RK lip kit or stay stock. I'm really torn on which one to do though so i'm going to see if someone can shop the kit onto my car. Ill post pics if someone will shop it.

If so many of you are wanting nice kits.....why dont you get together with a local fiberglass/urethane compnay and have something done.....like say a re-made GXP kit or something???....
I know Hypsy was trying to get the Turbo-Sport cavalier stuff made, but there was not enough interest.

hmm..you think so? I was thinking of swaping stock bumpers for the longest time also, but was never sure which one or if I should just keep my stock SE bumper. So it looks like ill probably be keeping a stock bumper, but whether its my stock SE that I have or a different one, is beyond me..
Give me some insight guys, which stock Fire bumper looks best in your eyes? im really torn on what to do..

If I do get the GT front, I will more than likely get the lip kit also.

get a fiberglass bumper and customize it. something could be done with the blitz to make it a lil more subtle
99 gt front, rear, and sides are my fav stock kit.... basically joes car... only with eyelids and bronze wheels (a lighter shade) would be my perferred set up for a sunfire...

Im still not completely sure, but I think im leaning more towards the 95-99 GT front w/ the WW front lip but I will more than likely keep the 00-02 rear and sides. Im taking the reverse lights out of the rear bumper though and converting to a 95-99 trunk w/ shaved spoiler. The trunk is all done, just needs paint. And for the hood, I will be welding on eyelids, just havent got that far yet. I do have all the materials waiting though. Then soon thereafter, I am planning on getting some 18" 5-split spoke black wheels w/ polished lip...Black on black

x2....i do beleive thats what im gonna do. there really is nothing for the Fire. i personally dont like the 00-02 GT bumper for the exact reason listed above (frickin catfish). and the 95-99 GT is too plain IMO. the 00-02 SE front at least has some caracter with the grill. but dude u gotta do what u think will look good on ur car.
If you're low enough, you won't need (or want) a lip
