Not sure what the problem is but my sunroof will not close all the way. It opens fine and closes fine, it just will not go flush with the roof of the car. It doesn't leak a whole lot but i can see water marks in my headliner. Not sure what could be causing this insight is appreciated

same thing happened to me, deop the headliner, take the red plastic clip out of the motor. BE CAREFUL YOU DON'T BREAK IT. Then screw the bolt or whatever you wanna call it so it goes flush, then pill the motor and make sure you reset the cam so it is timed right, bult back up and try before you reinstall everything,

You might not need to go through with that crap....try just bending the green micro switch's towards the cam wheel....over time the little rivets wiggle a little loose and it doesn't take much for the switches to back off just enough to not depress when they should...making the electronics in the motor to think the roof is already closed.......take 3 minutes and you dont even need to drop your liner. Just pull back the rubber lip infront of the motor and bend the aluminum that holds the switches up towards the cam wheel...done.
