go to Street-line.net or just go to youtube "toyota Cavalier" going to warn you NOW and take it as gold your better off buying a full JDM car then doing the wall trust me after cost you could have gotten one for the price. And if you dont know who i am then you need to google. ]:->

i havent attempted a rhd swap but i would have to agree. ive seen several people attempt it (laverty and the guy that had the 03 sunfire rhdcavfire) and i dont think either finished.

i think the above poster is the only one, maybe theres another, to actually fully finish this swap.

Just keep your current car, and then move to Japan with it...Then, your left hand drive will be as rare as the right hand over here...

Well im looking at buying the subframe steering rack and full dash from someone. I have heard many have attempted but not have been completed fully. So I just wanted to see how the once that have been done what they look like. I have seen pictures of the toyota cav I wanted to see the actual swap done.

next season we should have two stock toyota cavaliers over here for sell. We are going to try something different and start selling full size JDM cars to the public and cut back on bring over parts. We have been having a real hard time the last 12 months with US customs and the Japan port. But for some reason its alot easier for me to get the cars full god knows why! The only cars we will not be touching at this time will be the skyline since its a red flag for the DOT and US Customs.

Get all the parts you need in a pile, and drive the car into it.
They will find their way into the correct places.

I guess if you had 8000 bucks to spend on an 8 year old Cavalier that would be the case. But for Michelle to do hers it has not been a pain in the butt at all, very mild by our standards so far.

Yeah traffic isnt a big deal really. After a few blocks you get used to driving RHD Backing into a parking spot with a curb on the left side of the car is a bit weird though lol
