I have a VIS OEM style CF hood on my 05 Cav and theres a gap as well. It's the nature of aftermarket. Not much you can do about it. What you can do is paint the engine bay where the gaps are to make the gap less apparent. Double check your fitment as well sometimes you can minimize the gap that way too.

Shawn, Whiteboy was a company that made custom products. There have been fitment issues with some of the people that have bought from him. It has nothing to do with ethnicity.

If you ever want some great amusement and to evaluate what "shady business" is like then search for Whiteboy.ca or simply white boy.

He is still trying to sell items however on ebay not here. Beware.

I find with my carbon hood you have to play with the hinge bolts a bit to adjust it and alighn the hood so that the gaps are even on both sides; maby try adjusting her up, see what happens..
I have a vis cf invader hood and it fits pretty nice, had it on the car for 3 years, but i take it off each winter as i dont want the cold to potentially warp it and the salt to scratch it etc...
