Where to start?
Tuesday, December 30, 2008 7:56 PM
I'm looking for some ideas of what to do to my car I bought it last year and I havn't really done much to it besides the WW lip which I painted and installed myself. Its a 2.2 L 2002 Z24, the car is really clean no rust so I'd like some summer projects to work on. Oh yeah and I found some Chrome stock rims for $250 CAN but thats it.

Actually I forgot to mention that I'm from Canada and they did offer the 02 with a 2.2 L ecotec.

What a sexy car man! I'd start right off with something nasty like the hahn stage 2 kit, no joke.

I would lower it but with the 3 feet of snow pilled up on the roads its not very practical. I'm also on a bit of a budget.

Car looks pretty good the way it is man! On a budget, I wouldn't do too much yet. If you want to enhance the look a bit, I think tint and some rims would make a huge difference.

I'm Canadian to, tons of snow in my area....i'm lowered on coils over 2".....never had a problem....seems to be a vary common misconception with lowered cars in the winter...its all in how you drive....and u could still have a decent set up on some what of a budget, I'd say pro-kit on agx's

Might have to consider that. How much would it run me? And is it something that I could do easily by myself?

it would run you around 800 with an aliignment. and its something that if you are mechanically inclined you can do yourself.
