I was curious, will the spoiler from the hyundai tuburan fit on an 00-02 Sunfire. I have seen it done on a few 03-05 Sunfires and it looks amazing. How much fab would have to be done?

Also if there are any pics of and 00-02 Sunfire with this spoiler, I would love to seen them.

Don't see why it wouldn't fit a 95-02 sunfire.. all the trunk lids are the same thing. 2000-2002 and 03-05 are the same trunk minus the filler panel, taillights, and rear bumper. That is how people do the 03 taillight swap.

From my understanding from searching.. Its not a easy task.. Sounds like it has to be narrowed(meaning cutting it in half, and joining it back together. by plastic welding or plastic repair. Not filler or fiberglass!) Also that the mounting posts have to be modified.

Granted by looking at Andy Brook's sunfire.. its the best wing ever for the sunfire.. yet most I don't believe could modify it to work.

Gary Frank I believe also has it done, So I'd contact one of them directly.

Which wing? I've got a Tibby wing on my '99. A Tibby isn't the same shape as a Sunfire, mine required reshaping of the 3 posts.

Yes, Andy Brooks and Gary Frank both have them. There is a good bit of work involved to get them to fit seeing as the Sunfire trunk lid is curved more than the Tiburon's.

Seth (wizkiddrummer) is also working on one. he has his almost finished. and yes. there is a lot of work to be done to get them to fit right. i would contact one of the 3. altho. im sure seth will find this post and post. so.

Thanks for the info. I definitely wanna try this. I agree with stephen (manta z), its the best wing for the sunfires. everything else is way too big or too gawdy. I have seen Gary Franks car on here and it what gave me the idea.
