Hey guys, i have a 97 Cavalier and i bought clear corners about three years ago but recently one of them cracked and i dont feel like going out and buying new ones so i just wanted to use my stocks but i was wondering how to take them apart so that i can take the amber reflector out of them to make them clear like that after market ones thanks......
Not sure if you can bake them the same way as some other lights but that might be an option, use the search for custom lights or how toos.. you can also use a dremmal through the hole in the back... use a longer bit to break up the amber lens into smaller peices you can pull out using a pair of needle nose pliers.. after just use an air hose to blow the dust out.
ok cool thanks man i might give either one of those are try.
and i was going to buy clear corners but i never thought of that thanks for the idea!
i just drilled a couple of holes in the reflector and broke it till it all came out. it worked alright. It just takes a little time.

if you can put up a pic of how it looks.. I have clear corners with the chrome inside, recently someone must have bumped it in a lot because the clear lens is gone, just pulled the lens of a normal light and glued it is but kinda looks funny so i was thinking of just getting a set and doing the above myself..which is where the idea came from, just havent had the money since being laid off.
This what they look like. They would have looked alot better but i got really Inpatient >:o Lol. you can see in the picures that they are alot of scratched on the inside lense but if you take your time and brake the pieces really small this wont happen!! Hope this helps man.
