I have an 02 with the stock lip on it. Its kinda trashed and I wanted to take it off. How do I go about doing this. Do you just pull down on the lip or what?

And if I were you I would see about selling the lip, as they are rare to come across, and as long as the damage is not to bad they would likely buy it.
Well, I want to fix it up and put it back on so I don't want to break it off. Is that the only way?
its usually just held in buy clips. tug on the lip.

dont tug on it, u'll break the tabs.
you gotta remove the clips inside the bumper, very easy to do, there will also be a screw in each wheel well.
