Hi all,
Im not even sure where this post belongs, Maintainence or exterior or interior, but the point is, my passenger side door wont close. The door lock modicule is not clipping on to the "U" latch in the door jamb. The door lock modicule is really rusted inside and barely can move so I have to go buy a new one. I've searched in the junkyard and I found a good set but it came from a 4 door cavalier. Does it matter if I grab one from a 4 door as long its the front doors and has power plug-in for locking the door? Im headed to the junkyard tomorrow to get one so please help me on this one asap.
THANKS!

Spray it down with some PB blaster and start to work it real good until it moves freely.
Then grease it every so often after that so you don't have to deal with this again.
Just looked at the OP. guessing you already tried that out so I have no idea aboot the locks being the same or not, good luck.
When the latch on my driver's front door broke, I got one from a 2 door. Yes, they are interchangeable.
Did I mention I drive a 2000 Lumina now?-----wigm-tuners.org member
