I see PIAA makes this: PIAA 19617 Xtreme White 9007 Hi-Lo Dual Filament Bulbs - Pair
I need something that lights up the road a bit more than my current stock bulbs. Any suggestions? Thanks.
i got my wife silerstar ultimates for her malibu...uses 9005 and 9006 but they are great, light up the road pretty brightly
Silverstar Ultras are pretty nice.

But the added cost of projectors would be insane....
P.S. if you use HID without projectors you are the PROBLEM, not the solution...
Hella's are pretty darn bright.
some have good luck some have bad luck with silverstars, i like mine. had very good luck with mine, nice and bright, but im working with projectors now
I'm a fan of Luminics Ultra White bulbs.
i like my silverstars. but i hear good things about those luminics
Silverstar Ultra 9007 are awesome, the silverstar fog lights dont seem to last that long though, I've been through like 3 bulbs. But I've had the 9007's for over a year
i have phillips extra vision, or something like that...nice and bright...my old bulbs sucked so much when my uppers were on, it was like my lowers were on(and no, it wasn't cuz they needed to be adjusted)...new phillips work GREAT and when they go, i'm goin to john for some HID!
i use Nokya stage 2 arctic purples. they are 7500k and pretty bright.
I just replaced the bulbs in my passat. i was between the ultras and the lower priced bulbs... opted for the lower since her headlights suck balls to begin with.
do you guys really thing that the ultras are worth the 50bucks!?! the ones i opted for were like 35... just curious.
I had ultras in my old sedan. They were clearer, but I didn't think they were worth 50 bux. I think there has to be better bulbs out there for that price. Once i fix my sedan I have right now, I am going to try the Luminics.

You guys are nuts for paying $50 for the Ultras when you can get them on
eBay for half that, if not less.
I am pretty happy with the Ultras in my '02 Sunfire Sedan. I have regular Silver Stars in my '94 Sunbird and holy @!#$ are those things really white and really bright! I wish they were that white and bright in my Sunfire, but the ones in the Sunfire are still better than stock. I need to re-adjust my headlights and than I think they will be even better.
For the hassel and hype, Halogen bulbs are inneficient.
I would put regular bulbs in and if you want a white headlight then get silverstars are pep boys.
Either way, if your looking for better lumins(usable light) Hid will be the pathy ou eventually go.
Unless they have L.E.D headlights out by then but fat chance.
" Aint nothin' but a Peanut!"
I just ordered the Luminics. I will let you know what i think when i get them and install them.
I have luminics jdm yellow 9007 bulbs in my fire sedan, more for looks as they are not bright on the road; but its more or less my fault since i have the inside of my headlights paintted, so i have literally no light out put at night.....
98 j-body sedan
I had Eurolite bulbs in before I put in Lumincs Ultra White's in both my headlights & fogs. The difference is noticeable. Luminics look great, but you can still actually see with them.
PIAA is the sh!t, of the sh!t. made in japan, japanese do it up. expensive but you get what u pay for as i always say. u can find good deals on ebay.
Working on obtainting an M-Class license... ?? Hint: 2 wheels.
I have had good luck with the nokya bulbs that I have ran.

I have the Luminics Hyper White bulbs and last night it was raining out. Well let me just say that the drive home sucked with these bulbs, i could not tell the difference with or without the headlights thats how bad they are. My opinion with these bulbs are a show item not for highway use... I am all set with these bulbs, i am going back to silverstars.
